As if this movie needed any more ticket stubs to solidify it's standing as the mightiest superhero movie of all time, the avengers is back for your viewing pleasure starting this weekend for a full week.Marvel announced the re-release news on their Facebook page with this image of Thanos, and a caption that includes this coy advice...Don't forget to stay through the credits...so what does this mean? Could we be getting another mid or post credit bonus? Why else would Marvel tells fans to stick through till the end since the Thanos scene and the Shwarma social hour are old news. If not a deleted scene from mastermind Joss Whedon's cutting room floor, it could be an opportunity to hype Iron Man 3...considering some first look footage from THAT sequel premiered at this year's Comic Con. Or perhaps Marvel is planning to show their newest short film Item 47, which tells the story of a couple that discovers an intergalactic weapon left behind after the attack on new york city. If nothing else, this second release is a great way to ready fans wallets for the film's dvd and blue ray distribution on September 25th...which will be chock full of deleted scenes and special features.So what do you think Marvel's going to show us? The Avengers Assembled box set comes with a code that gives fans access to a secret website with some previews of Marvel's next phase, including concept art and behind the scenes images from "Thor: The Dark World," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Guardians Of The Galaxy" and "Ant-Man." And yes, it's all looking very cool so far! We're particularly excited for the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and from the looks of it, she'll be making a trip to Asgard with Thor in The Dark World. We're also getting our first look at what Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier will look like as well as Anthony Mackie's Falcon costume. Plus, we're getting an even better look at what we can expect Rocket Raccoon to look like when Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters later next year.
