Aerith comes to visit Cloud in spirit telling him, (or at least trying to tell him) that he has to move on and forgive himself for letting her, (Aerith) die. Meanwhile, Cloud is astounded
when he believes that he sees Aerith's as well as his friend Zack Fair's spirit, inside the Temple of Sanctuary. (That's my name of calling that place, so it's actually not the real name.)

On the other hand, Cloud's friends are completely oblivious, (unaware) of Aerith's and Zack's presence as Tifa suspects what Cloud has been staring at.

After telling Cloud that everything will be fine, Cloud watches those last moments of his lover, Aerith, and best friend, Zack, fade away back into the Lifestream.
Cloud: " Goodbye for now...my love."
IN CONCLUSION
Tifa starts seeing Reno and after getting they get to know each other better, as well as spending many nights in the same bed, they soon enough become engaged.
On the other hand, Cloud is seeing no one but always prays for Aerith right before going to sleep. (Less)
