"Jellies" This was a video-art piece that I was commissioned (More) This was a video-art piece that I was commissioned to make via a project that I got involved with in the summer of 2002. It was an art event sponsored by a RACC grant given to the director, Heidi Carlsen, that involved performance, audio, dance, and this video short. During this time I also met and befriended the lovely Teryl Saxon-Hill, who art-directed the project, and who, to this day, I still absolutely adore. It was a two night performance held at the Eco-Trust building in Portland, Oregon in August 2002 and included dinners catered by ClarkLewis held on the roof-top each night after the performance. In many ways, remembering this time still holds a mix of sadness and happiness for me, as it was not soon after this that a dear friend of mine, Hawthorne Hunt, passed away. This is the first time this video has been posted since the original event.
