ESBJÖRN SVENSSON - Uno dei più grandi pianisti degli ultimi anni, originale e creativo: un grande musicista, brillante, virtuoso e generoso, un pianista meraviglioso che ha riunito i puristi del jazz agli amatori. Jazz Baltica è un interessante festival di musica jazz che si celebra a Salzau in Germania. Fortuitamente sono venuto in possesso della registrazione live del concerto effettuato il 2 luglio 2011 riguardante la musica dedicata a Esbjörn Svensson, "Tribute To Esbjörn", immenso pianista degli "EST". Al concerto hanno preso parte i seguenti artisti: Nils Landgren - trombone e voce, Leszek Możdżer - pianoforte, Lars Danielsson - violoncello e contrabbasso, Pat Metheny - chitarra, Yaron Herman - pianoforte, Michael Wollny - pianoforte, Viktoria Tolstoy - voce, Dan Berglund - contrabbasso, Magnus Öström - batteria, Kris Kristofferson - voce, Vijay Iyer - pianoforte, Andreas Werliin - batteria, Martin Hederos - pianoforte e Johan Lindström - chitarra.
