The first PPV of the "Perfection" Era has begun with Paul Frost returning home to defend his gold againest a man that also claims to be perfection.....Brian Thorn. A man that has made his claim in "perfect" fasshion after beating down Paul on his first night as champion, then beating Dean James in his home town and then last week beating Paul by Pin Fall. Thorn is sending a message loud and clear he will not be ignored.
For Paul its the pressure and plessure of defending his World Championship in front of the home town crowd. For Paul a year ago it was proving he could be a Champion to now proving he's the best Champion period. With victories over men like Famine of Vile, Dean James, MDK and Chris Page under his belt Paul plans to add Brian Thorn to the ever growing list.
Will Thorn be able to break on through to the otherside and win the Worlds Championship and lay claim to the title of "Perfection"? Or will Paul Frost prove once and for all why he is Perfection Personifed and why he is the Worlds Champion.
Also keeping with champions Paul's friend and more importantly the longest reging IC Champion Dean Jamese defends his title againest anther VIP member Brian Bostwick. A man undfeated in the WGWF looking for his first championship. Will he remain un beaten come Wrestle War or will Dean James find anther way to keep the gold as he as done before.
Also look out as the finals of he 2008 WGWF Global Cup wind down as Mic Ferrari and Slate Tristen get it on for the chance to become a Global Champion and a future shot at the IC Title awaits the winner. Plus the Tag Team, Internet and Woman's Championships are all on the line.
All this plus a parking lot brawl match between Trent Lawless and Apollo Cain will settle there score as well as Seth Stevens looks to take out anther WGWF Orginal in Jimmy JRN in a Hardcore match.
