MC was one of a few celebs to join will.i.am's star-powered Google+ Hangout hosted last night --- in addition to Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jimmy Iovine who all gathered online to chat all about the release of Will's highly anticipated album #willpower. And while the discussion was mostly about will, there was a decent portion of the chat that shed some light on what we should be expecting of Miley's new music! Will kicks things off by giving Miley quite the introduction, explaining that their "Fall Down" collab came after the two crossed paths in the studio and Dr. Luke let Will hear a taste of MC's new stuff. His response? Well according to the rapper, he has added Miley's new sound to the list of things he LOVES, going on to say that it quote, "redefined everything that you thought Miley Cyrus was," and even then went on to refer to the music as quote, "amazing incredibleness." We are SO excited to hear what Miley has been working so hard on --- especially because after will's introduction, the starlet revealed that the making of her album has basically taken over her life. She explains quote, "All I do is focus on my music. The only place I ever am is at the studio. My friends, my relationships have honestly changed since I started working on the record." Hmmm -- so could this be why her and Liam have been spending so much time apart? Hopefully the two lovebirds are still going strong and will go back to normal once Miley finally releases the album she's been working so hard on. So we want to hear from you guys! Hey guys thanks for watching ClevverMusic, here's our #willpower album review. After being delayed due to songs on a hard drive stolen out of his car, Will.i.am's fourth album is finally out. The Black Eyed Peas' resident entrepreneur has released his follow-up to 2007's "Songs About Girls" which was praised by critics but didn't get much love on the song charts. This time, he's recruited the biggest pop stars in music to feature on the album, and there's practically a new guest on every song. The 18-track album is a beat-filled pop explosion of dance tracks and catchy lyrics. Let's break down the standout tracks. Of course the most well-known song "Scream & Shout" features Britney Spears and has been a huge success on the charts, peaking at No. 3. We also love the #3 track "This Is Love" featuring Eva Simons, who does an excellent job belting out the high notes. But don't get confused this is no romantic love song—it's all about loving the music. Will sings, "This is love for the beats/ Steal it in the streets/ Love for the melody, notes on a sheet". The song is super catchy so no surprise it was the lead single, hitting No. 1 in the UK, but failed to make an imprint here in the US. The latest US single "#thatPOWER" features Justin Bieber on a techno filled dance track where he sings the catchy hook, "And I'm loving ever second minute hour bigger better stronger power". The song serves as a feel good pump up anthem, and will no doubt will be used at sporting events and house parties alike. Singer Chris Brown does guest vocals on "Let's Go" (isn't that a Ne-Yo song?) and it leans heavy on the EDM side. The song is another club track with a fist pumping beat where Chris sings, "Let's get crazy, alright/ C'Mon let's go/ Crazy alright/ C'mon let's go" and our favorite line from Will is, "Love you like my boombox". The last standout track features Miley Cyrus on "Fall Down", which features whistling, more catchy hooks and techno beats. Miley and Will take turns singing, "You pick me up when I fall down". The song doesn't really play to Miley's strengths but it's a cute song with some edge that we're sure her fans will love.Overall, the will.i.am is one huge upbeat collaboration made perfectly for the dance floor.
