Persona 3- Bonus Boss- Elizabeth (4) SPOILERS! Watch at your own risk.
Best viewed in small mode.
Optional boss fight against (More) SPOILERS! Watch at your own risk.
Best viewed in small mode.
Optional boss fight against Elizabeth, part four of four. Elizabeth is very powerful, and will destroy you if you're unprepared. I highly recommend the accessory Divine Pillar (heart item from Alilat), since it decreases
the damage from her attacks to a point where they, well, don't take out nearly half of your health at once. Having Persona that resist the appropriate elements also helps to decrease her damage.
The thing about fighting Elizabeth is that there are certain rules you must follow, or she'll instantly kill you with her Megidolaon (which deals 9,999 damage!). You cannot use Persona with Null, Repel, or Absorb skills, or that have natural Null, Repel, and Absorb, and you must fight her alone. If you use Armageddon, and it doesn't finish her off, she'll also kill you instantly.
Elizabeth uses eight different Persona in a pattern, with a special ninth Persona used under certain circumstances. She'll also periodically decide to hit you over the head with the Persona compendium, as well as attack you with the Persona tarot cards as her physical attacks. To make things worse, she also gets two turns. Elizabeth uses Surt (fire), Jack Frost (ice), Thor (electricity), Cu Chuculain (wind), Metatron (light), Alice (darkness), Nebiros (status ailments), and Masakado (almighty). After Masakado, she'll switch back to Surt, and repeat the cycle. Obviously you'll want Persona to protect from these different elements, as well as ones to attack her back appropriately. Having them at the max level with maxed stats makes things easier, but is time consuming and not necessary (it only makes the battle take less time). Having Persona that can cover multiple elements, and have the skills High Counter, Spell Master, and Unshaken Will also help alot.
Two Fusion Spells are also necessary to defeat Elizabeth: Ananta and Vishnu's Infinity (to protect against Masakado's Megidolaon) and Lucifer and Satan's Armageddon (to finish her off). When Elizabeth's HP drops under half (10,000), she'll summon her special Persona, Pixie, to full heal herself. She only does this once, however, if she goes under 9,000 HP, she can use Pixie as many times as she wants to heal herself. Therefore, for the sake of time, try to High Counter her under 10,000 HP (on her second turn, so she can't heal herself), then use Armageddon to defeat her.
