Decade Project Pt. Dos Decade Project Part 2/3 June 2006 N8 Productions (Watch in sequence.) "This video is (More) Decade Project Part 2/3 June 2006 N8 Productions (Watch in sequence.) "This video is presented to you by Nate, Jahan, Chris and Zane from Mrs. Van Der Veer's 2005 ITS class. The contents of this video include mundane and cheesy humor that I doubt anyone will find funny (except for the individuals previously mentioned). So please, even if you don't find this at a ll the least bit humorous, find it in your hearts - no, your souls - to at least just chuckle uncontrollably as necessary. It'd make us feel better. Thanks, and enjoy!" This video was obviously created by Chris, Jahan and I (Nate) for purposes of a video final for our sophomore English/Social Studies class. First things you should note about this movie: I wrote the script in about 1.5 days, leaving no time for revisions or tweakings. It was all done in the best way possible to keep in clean and PG as a school project, so some of (if not all of) the humor is pretty dry and undeveloped. Most of it is just silly, and we've noticed from previous showings of this video it's more entertaining to the individuals who shot it (us) than it really is to regular audiences. We also had a limited ammount of time to shoot this video, we shot everything in two days (if that). You can definitely tell by the quality of the movie and "acting." We didn't have time to rehearse or plan anything out. It was all done by-script and if you can tell, about 50% of it is mostly improv. Finally this is only a rough cut of the film, with about two full days of editing. We actually had four days, but on day two Pinnacle Studio decided to crash and delete all of our editing work, making us start over by scratch. Not a fun experience... So why are you watching this video? God knows... I must have forced this upon you some how. Anyways, the real shine of this little film are the sketches. Two in particular that I do think are the highlights: The FBI scene (Pt. 1) and the Pope scene (Pt. 3). If you guys can stomache pretty amaturic improve/acting and the pretty low quality (740x480 aparantly doesn't scale well with YouTube), then you should at least enjoy those parts. Oh, and the bloopers. I think it's unanimous that our bloopers are probably the best part of the entire film. But then again, when you're screw ups are better than your actual movie... yeah. Nuts. But they're cheesy, silly in all their own. Enjoy! (And if you're curious, we did all get 100% on our ITS final. Hey, I guess we at least did something right!) (Less)
