I picked up and said, "Hello?" Kat replied, "Hey..have u gotten enough money for tickets?" I said with a lil disappointment "No..but I entered online too..they announce the winners in 2 days!!" "Good luck with that..i mean tons of people are gonna be entering.." she said. "well, atleast we can try! Anyways..if I get tickets..after that night, can I come to your house and stay the night? Our dad would—" she cuted me off by saying "Ik ik..ur dad..of course it's fine..is Alyssa coming?" I smiled while saying "I hope..if I get enough money.." from the background of Kat's phone, I could hear her mom scream her name..Ok Mom..she replied.. "hey, I have to go, I'll call u later..toodles" she hung up. I looked at Alyssa who was trying to follow Demi sing "This is Me." She wasn't pitch perfect, but she was ok..I got up and washed the bowls and then I opened the fridge and got an orange and I sliced it into piece so Alyssa stayed healthy. Alyssa isn't a big fan of fruits, but I made her eat it anyways..
About 2 hrs later, I went up to her room and she was doing her easy 1st grade homework. Adding. "I need help sissy.." she said "ok, what do u need help on?" I asked "I don't get this.." she showed me the problem 5+7. "Ok, so I have 5 piece of candy, and u have 7. If I give all of my 5 pieces to u, how much will u have?" I tried to explain. "I don't know..this is to hard." She said. "lets count ur fingers..hold up 5 fingers.." I told her. She held up 5, I held up 7. "Now count them" I said to her. She took about 40 seconds just counting fingers. "12!" she said with excitement. "Good job Alyssa.." I helped her with the rest of her homework for about 30 minutes. I called up our babysitter Alli. She was the same age I was and she went to my school, but just in a different class. She was considered my 2nd best friend. She was cool, nice, funny, and we didn't have to pay her because she liked spending time with little kids. I had to help the neighbors weed their yard to earn money. She came within 10 minutes. I let her in and I told Alyssa I'll be back in an hr or so. Alyssa was happy, no more like thrilled to have Alli over. Alyssa loved Alli. I told Alli to call me if she needed anything help.
I went to the neighbors house and I weeded. They were the nicest old couple I've ever met. I wish when I got older, I would be exactly like them. It took me an hr and half to weed it. In between, I got calls from alli just her saying that everything is fine. I was done weeding and the old couple gave me $25. I was happy. I went back home and saw Alyssa and alli playing the piano. "Hey." I said with exhaustion. "SISSY!!!!" Alyssa screamed while she came running towards me. "Hey Sammy. I guess I'll go back now." I knew she lived in a old shack., so I was being a nice person and asked her to stay. "You can stay here, we wont mind. Besides my dad probably will never come back." "Really? Are u sure? I don't wanna be a bother." She said politely. "Of course! Besides, this house is better than a shack..You can sleep in my room with me, unless u want a room to yourself." "it doesn't matter. I'm fine with either one." She said smiling. "Can we play dolls now?" Alyssa asked out of the blue. Me and Alli giggled. "sure" alli responded. Alli and Alyssa walked back upstairs and I went into the kitchen. I think I should tell my dad about Alli first..I tried calling him..after about 5 rings a woman picked up.. "hello, who is this?" yeah..definately..she was at the bar.. "umm..may I talk to John (my dad)" "Hello? Who is this?" my dad said. "your daughter Samantha." I said rudely. "Hi. What do u need?" he said with an impatience voice. "Can Alli stay over?" I asked. "I don't care. It's ur house now. I payed for it this morning and theres $5,000 at ur desk. You can use it. And I wont be back home again. And there a credit card with $100,000. It was your moms. Now it's yours..Have to go. Bye." He hung up..I was in shocked. (Less)
