Regarding one of my last songs"And you are far from me" actually I wrote it moving from a personal need of keeping the memories of my life in a "music draw" that I can open anytime I want.Definitely the song"And you are far from me" represents the difficulty of a man to overtake the contraddictions of a relationship with a woman, but the hope to live a sort of "dream world" , it helps to face the bitter of love in all its various aspects.
Very often in love you try to "understand things", to beat your brains out and wonder why that particular thing happened ,but then it's too late,or often you find a "wall" ,cos the person is far from you, both physically and mentally.
"I always listened to 80's funk and bands such as Shalamar, Gap Band, Midnight Stars ,One Way, the Chic, twinkling my eyes also to 70's music such as Barry White, the Jackson Five or Kool & the Gang, and on my relaxing times, some good chill out, lounge, like the "Cafe' Del Mar" collection.
I even fancy "the blue note" jazz artists such as MIles Davis, Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, till the modern ones, such as Pat Metheny, Charles Lloyd,Ralph Towner , or the classic orchestra of Burt Bacharach, or the cool voice of Michael Franks and Elvis Costello".
"When I think of life as a strange dream I reflect on our time and not just the minutes that scan our days. I believe in new ways of making music like taking the sounds of nature or more overtalking and screams taken live from the streets to mix on instrumental phrases.."
On my research work, I often review and remix songs , through the networking support of TuneCore Music Usa, one of Jassniro Music Distributor and Publisher , all songs and tracks copyrighted with BMI and put on line through various retailers such as Itunes, Amazon mp3, Rhapsody ,Spotify, Nokia music etc,all gathered together in the latest albums "Inside me" and "Things in circle" and single tracks such as "the summer is over, " "Dreams Without A Name", "I'm feeling strange", or "Teardrops in my mind"). Jassniro actually is up to a global contest of digitizing music starting with a home recording studio based in Rome, Italy,and trying to enlarge his perspectives through other collaborations and technical support such as the Universal Mastering Studios (UMS) in the U.S.. and getting precious ideas and suggestions of other musicians and various artists worldwide,also folks on line and various fans of world music , spoken word,chill, lounge music, r&B, jazz, funk, pop, spiritual, alternative-
"The word artist is a bit out of place . Under my point of view, a musician, a composer, is someone that can understand music, and let it enter into his life with more depth than others .. Imagine something intimate,like for example , when you go to the bathroom and shut the door because someone can see you, the same thing, Is it an artist someone who goes to the bathroom?"
Probably yes, for me, making music ,it is an intimate moment that initially you do not share with anyone else, except with oneself, then later on, trying to share it with your family, friends, fans, a public or whatever...
To tell you the truth I'm not a fan of the classic theme, incidentally refrain, chorus, etc., but I'm passionate about sound research, the sounds of nature, "'overtalking, recreate and bring to music all the daily real situations , such as people's mundane conversations and comments with a carpet of sound..."
