[Guitar Hero 3 Custom] "God Knows" - Aya Hirano Probably one of my favorite songs of all time, with probably the coolest ending solos known to (More) Probably one of my favorite songs of all time, with probably the coolest ending solos known to Japanese man, this is "God Knows" as performed by uber Japanese idol Aya Hirano and featured in everyone's favorite animu, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. In the anime, Haruhi and Yuki performed this song on stage as stand-ins for two missing band members of the band ENOZ during the North High cultural festival. Probably regarded as one of the best scenes of the series, and hell, probably one of the best animated to boot, God Knows is widely recognized by Haruhiists and Aya Hirano fans alike. This is my third GH3 custom. As with "Sora Iro Days", I listened to the karaoke version and went over various fan-made tablatures of this song in order to recreate the notes with unerring accuracy. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well, as much of the tablature was quite clearly incorrect and the karaoke still had harmony voices in the background, which drowned out the guitars enough for me to not be able to tap them in by ear. The solos are most definitely correct, as well as the verses. I can guarantee that the choruses, however, are not. Still, compared to pretty much all of the other God Knows note charts out there, this one is in much more of a realistic, complete form. Again, I used FRAPS, and like before, it killed my frames, which therefore killed my own personal performance. I do a lot better on this song than you see here; I can get AT LEAST 90%. I'm still not good enough though... those DAMN REPEATING TRIPLETS are a pain in the ass. The video was recorded a 1024 x 768 (4:3) resolution in in .AVI format, then was converted to 640 x 480 (4:3) resolution in .WMV format for YouTube purposes. The audio is of the game itself. There is no mic connected to the computer. As much as I know you wanted to, you do not get to hear me swearing very loudly every single time I miss a note. --== PROGRESS ==-- IIIIIIIIIIIIII......
