I checked my clock which read 7:45. I threw my covers off and got up. Maybe no one was up, I could use this to my advantage. I slipped my bathing suit on and hurried to the pool. Luckily, the pool was empty and everyone was sleeping. I laid my towel on a chair and slipped my shoes, shorts, and tank off. I jumped in a cannon ball into the water. When I resurfaced, I heard laughing. Kate-Its you again. Nick-Haha, you seem to know my advantages. Kate-Or, you are just a stalker. I swam to the side where Nick was standing. He sat down and dipped his feet in. Nick-Dang, Its cold. Kate-Eh, I get used to it easily. Nick-Ha, maybe youre meant to live in the water. Kate-Har Har, lets see whos laughing now. Kate grabbed Nicks hands and pulled him in. He quickly swam back up and splashed her. Nicks-ITS COLD! Kate-Ha, sucks to be you! She swam as fast as she could from him, but he caught up fast. Nick wrapped his arms around her waist and dragged her deep under. They were fighting under water trying to hold their breathe. Nick eventually got up for air, and Kate followed. Kate-You are a good under water ninja fighter, haha. Nick-Ive been practicing. Kate-[raising eyebrow] Really? Nick-Totally, every morning, I go and wrestle a walrus. [sarcastic tone.] Kate-Ha. Kate splashes Nick who splashes back. Soon, it becomes a huge brawl. Kate gave up when her arms were going numb. Kate-Too much exercising. I need to..go to the bathroom. Nick-Ha Kate, dont worry, I have diabetes you know. Kate-Oh. Ha sometimes I just forget people actually understand. Nick-Yeah, its crazy sometimes. Lets go. They got up and dried their bodies with towels. Nick-How about we meet up and have breakfast? You can sit at my table. Kate-Sure, Ill meet you there in an hour. They waved goodbye and went in separate directions. Kate hurried to her room even though her legs felt weak and her hands were trembling. She checked her blood sugar and saw it was bad. She took a quick pill that would help her today and went for a shower.
