Soviet Anthem music video
This is the third and most recent Studio the Ultimate Eye production. Unlike the first two this (More) This is the third and most recent Studio the Ultimate Eye production. Unlike the first two this ain't a JumaLAN contestant. It was made rather just for fun in the summer 2006. We did intend to compete in the Wild Demo category again in JumaLAN '07 with a different video, but due to several mishaps that video wouldn't have been done in time. As we didn't want to participate with this video since we had showed it to everybody already, we just ditched the flick we would have done for jLAN and decided to wait for the next year. As was the case with the second SUE movie, the concept was done by Tenshin. He got the idea from a scene from AMV Hell 3 ( http://www.amvhell.com, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IDmF1O4cNM ) and from listening my Vappu '06 Compilation, where I had put a 3.28 minute version of the 1977 Anthem of Soviet Union. And thus, this is the result. A music video for the Anthem. In the end the movie was cut to 2.43 minutes, thus you don't hear the whole musical piece, but I guess it would had been a tad too long to remain interesting if we had used the whole song. Whether you take us seriously is up to you. However we think that this is easilly the most amusing and best of the Ultimate Eye movies so far. The work done for this video is easilly the greatest of the SUE productions but it was worth it (plus my work for this video was probably the least of the rest two, basically just acting). MP3 file provided by Russian Anthems museum (www.hymn.ru/index-en.html). Vappu (Walpurgis Night) is a students' and ploretarians' (=labours') festival in the spring. Because of proletarianism and the fact that it is a socialistic festivity (originally) the Anthem was in the Vappu compilation in the first place. In Finland Vappu is celebrated mostly by dinking extended amounts of sparkling wine and other alcohol beverages (like every festivity in Finland). But Vappu and Juhannus (Midsummer Festival) are the most wet ones. Actually me and Ronto did partake in the JumaLAN '06 Wild Demo Compo, but it wasn't an Ultimate Eye production. We did the video on site in couple of hours. And won. Go figure. I might upload it but, since it is kind of an inside joke, I don't know. Plus it has loads of people in it, and I would have to ask everybody's permission to post it. We just recently figured the concept for the next Studio Ultimate the Eye production. This time the concept is mostly done by me, although it was inspired by Tenshin's ideas for the next flick. It should be attending the JumaLAN '07 Wild Demo Compo in the January. (Less)
