With rapid and forceful rhythms, the music depicts the heros crossing huge forests and snowy lands to defeat the tiger on the mountain, despite of danger and difficulties. The composer makes use of the new techniques invented by himself, including long concordant notes, stopping the strings with many fingers and fast fingering-sequence. It incorporates almost all of the difficult techniques in contemporary zheng playing in less than three minutes of music, which in itself is historical event in the world of zheng music. (Less)
