Asalaamu Alaikom, my name is Faatimah and this is in response to your take off hijab video. I want to let you know.NO! WE WILL NEVER TAKE OFF HIJAB! Do you really think taking off hijab will help this young girl? Hijab is NOT just a head scarf, hijab is a presenceit is a peaceful presence. Hijab means: attitude, clothing and actions. You must have a good attitude, no cursing out people. You must wear modest clothing, and for gods sake, you must behave with the correct actions, no boys, no sex, no drugs, et cetera. So.you want us to take off hijab..are you saying you want us to become mean, irrational, un modest whores? Im sorry I guess Im just not getting it! Now you may say this is a bit too much, its a freegin scarf, thats what you met, a scarf, not the attitude or actions. Well Im here to say, its not a scarf for us, it is modestysomething we will fight for our right to wear. I love hijab and I believe I speak for many muslimahs when I say hijab is freakin awesome!
