Diary Of A Street Kid What would you do if you were dealt the hand of (More) What would you do if you were dealt the hand of fate to be a homeless street kid? if there was no way for you to work or live? if all other options were robbed from you and you had nowhere to sleep... nowhere to keep your things... nobody that liked you for you without having some variation of ulterior motive.. if you were all alone on the street without a single person to trust? No place to bathe.. Hungry, you dont want to fall asleep walking down the sidewalk because you have no place to go, so you end up on drugs.. or going home with someone who pays you for sexual acts.. just out of default!! you end up in jail or 6 feet under or on drugs or with people that lie cheat and steal from you and smile and pretend to be your greatest friend.. you cant go back home to your family cuz hey are all gone.. or disowned you.. or maybe you have to steal from a store because you are so uncomfortable with the pain that comes with starving.. could you? how far would you go?? at what cost ?? would you sell out a friend and ruin their whole life if it meant making your own better?? Would they do it to you?? have they already?? the faith of a child and the hopes of a martyr.. the passion of empathy.. but no resources to give the wonderful beautiful gifts an talents you were given to the rest of the world like you so desire. for every step you make forward, take 3 steps back?? Success to the few wonderful ones that are misfortunate enough to end up on the streets of hollywood is probably as low as 1%... and the people that you think are helping you out, are really the same ones that are holding you down. and you're stuck. they got you there. and you're under their control.. - that is if you want to live.. death food hits hunger starvation you worry guilt pain suffer shady guns wrong place wrong time violence thieves jeopardy jail risk impatience survival animalistic danger sex for bills with johns called tricks theinternet the fbi dea and jury the police the sherriff badge dodgeball and musical chairs tears are always present but never visible hostility and scandalous sly bastard cheaters and imitations the land of opportunity and illusion the circle 6 degrees scenesters tweekers almost everyone does something illegal drugs fraud prostitution.. where everyone fits in only because nobody fits in.. the most dentrimental huge responsibilities along with next to no responsibilities.. could you fathom?? could you do it a year? 3 years?? 12 years?? the rest of your life?? repetition. cycles. getting stuck in the hollywood spider web and watching the predator eat all your friends that are tangled in it with you.. the choice is LIVE or DiE ?? and you'll need to change a couple of priorities if you are to adapt.. you'll be labeled hated falsely loved ppl will shower you with empty promises and use the no home thing as a way to control you and fuck you over.. Street kids dont usually last very long. if you ever meet one that hasnt been killed or killed anyone or fucked someone over or went back to their parents and has been on the street 3 + years it is rare. The streets are not a joke. Now its your turn to experience the roller coaster hamster wheel and put your self in the shoes of Spaseboy from Minneapolis,MN and/or Josh from Dallas,TX who find a little bit of ease and comfort and some level of trust in eachother and grab your name tag and marker and after it says "hello my name is.." -you will write- "the scum of the earth" and then grab your backpack with a few of things you need the most and your sk8board... your lucky you ran in to me and josh, because they're vultures out there and they are on the prowl looking for vulnerable new prey that are new to the street..
