Omega Institute http://www.eomega.org/?source=UTB http://www.beingfearless.org/?source=UTB Join us at Omega's 4th annual Being Fearless conference, a celebration of courage and spirit in our everyday lives. While some may believe that being anxious is the only feasible response to life in the 21st century, we at Omega do not. As the title of this conference implies, we believe it is possible for each one of us to transform our fears into wisdom and freedom. We all have the potential to live a fearless life. Fearlessness is not the absence of fear; rather, it is seeing crisis as opportunity, and using the challenges in our personal lives for our own growth and for the greater good. Every year we bring the best of Omega to New York City—our renowned faculty, our caring staff, and our three decades of experience in creating community. This year we have assembled some of the boldest, most hopeful speakers, leaders, and teachers we could find. Former Vice President Al Gore and renowned primatologist Jane Goodall headline our cast of courageous keynote speakers. Their stories will inspire us, in the words of Goodall, to "use the gift of our lives to make the world a better place." Other keynote speakers include screenwriter and humorist Nora Ephron; visionary and healer Caroline Myss; author and activist Arianna Huffington; and Tibetan spiritual teacher Samdhong Rinpoche. On Friday night, musical innovator Bobby McFerrin will join Omega cofounders Elizabeth Lesser and Stephan Rechtschaffen in welcoming you to the conference. Our conferences are renowned for being interactive, experiential, and full of life. In addition to being inspired by our keynote speakers, you'll have the opportunity to energize and heal your body, mind, and spirit in a number of workshops and pre-conference intensives. In these times we all need a boost of courage, purpose, and hope. We need like-minded friends to join us on the journey. You'll find these things at Being Fearless. Please join us April 13-15, 2007 at the Sheraton New York Hotel, 811 Seventh Avenue in New York City.
