The Brothers of Destruction are an on and off professional wrestling tag team consisting of The Undertaker and Kane, who are kayfabe brothers who wrestle for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on its SmackDown! and ECW brands.[1] They are the current World Heavyweight Champion (The Undertaker) and ECW Champion (Kane).
In 1996, The Undertaker broke away from his historic and popular manager Paul Bearer.[2] Throughout 1996 and 1997, Undertaker feuded with Bearer and wrestled many wrestlers managed by him including Mankind and The Executioner. After Undertaker lost the WWF Championship to Bret Hart at SummerSlam 1997,[4] Bearer began taunting Undertaker that he had a younger brother named Kane, most notably screaming out the words, "KANE IS ALIVE!"
Glen Jacobs, who was last seen working in the WWF as a jobber named Isaac Yankem,[5] debuted at Badd Blood 1997 as Kane, Undertaker's half-brother.[1][3] He interfered in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, with the winner facing Bret Hart for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series 1997. During the match, Kane interfered and Tombstoned Undertaker allowing Michaels to pin Undertaker and become the #1 contender to the WWF title.[3][1][6]
They dropped the titles back to Kane and Mankind in a fatal four way tag team elimination match, also involving New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) and Nation of Domination (The Rock and Owen Hart) on an edition of RAW in August. This move occurred after they couldn't patch up with each other. This lead to a title match at SummerSlam, with Undertaker facing Austin for the WWF title. At that event, he and Kane became a team and became known as Brothers of Destruction after Kane abandoned Mankind during their Tag Team title defense against New Age Outlaws and instead interfered in Undertaker vs. Austin match when he tried to help his "brother" but Undertaker sent him back. As a result, Austin nailed the Stone Cold Stunner for a victory.[14][15] At Breakdown: In Your House, Undertaker, Kane and Austin faced each other in a triple threat match for Austin's WWF title. Undertaker and Kane proved to be partners as they pinned Austin at the same time.[1][3][16]On October 12, 2007 edition of SmackDown!, the Brothers of Destruction reunited for the first time in 2007, defeating WWE Tag Team Champions MVP and Matt Hardy in a non-title match.[1][58] The Brothers of Destruction reunited for the first time in 2008 on February 1, 2008 edition of SmackDown!, defeating Big Daddy V and Mark Henry by submission.[59] On the April 4, 2008 edition of SmackDown!, Undertaker and Kane were faced each other for the first time since WrestleMania XX, the match finished with no descicion as Edge, Chavo Guerrero, and Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder interfered. With both of them in tandem delivered a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver to Chavo Guerrero, Jr. and Edge.

Sheila Ferguson - Fool Of The Year "Disco 2008" is here. This utterly fabulous, joyous, sassy, uptempo throwback to Seventies (More) "Disco 2008" is here. This utterly fabulous, joyous, sassy, uptempo throwback to Seventies Disco, is the fifth song for our brand new album "Disco 2008" to have a finished video here on YouTube. We have now finished recording all of the twenty four songs going on it, plus three more songs just for the DVD version. As for the videos, and there is a video for each and every track, we still have a lot more to make over the next five weeks, to meet our December deadline. So we're all going to be busy at Centre City Records. When we first filmed Sheila Ferguson, the most well known lead singer of The Three Degrees, for "The Strange World Of Northern Soul", nine years ago, I was awestruck by how young and glamorous she looked, especially remembering she first recorded way back in 1965. Even more amazingly, nine years later and she hasn't aged a day. The Three Degrees were formed in 1963 by Richard Barrett and signed to Swan records. They were originally Fayette Pinckney, Linda Turner, and Shirley Poole. In 1966 Sheila Ferguson took over as lead singer, already an accomplished solo singer, with a song on Swan that was to become a Northern Soul favourite, "Heartbroken Memories". They then signed to Warner Brothers and recorded that wonderful song, "Contact", that became one of the favourites at Blackpool Mecca's legendary Highland Room. After Warner Bros, the act was then signed by Roulette Records and in 1970 scored their first major national hit, a top 5 remake of the Chantels' "Maybe." They followed later that year with the popular "You're the One," and landed a brief appearance singing in the Gene Hackman hit movie The French Connection. A major career move for the Three Degrees was their signing by Gamble & Huff's up-and-coming Philadelphia International Records in 1972. They made an immediate splash with the disco hit "Dirty Ol' Man" before joining with MFSB (the Philadelphia International house band) to record the Soul Train theme song "TSOP," which became an across-the-board #1 hit. They then followed the next year with what would become their signature song, the sophisticated ballad "When Will I See You Again," one of the greatest songs ever to come from Philadelphia, and the group's biggest international hit. The Three Degrees continued with moderate success at PIR before moving over to Epic Records in 1975 and then to Ariola. During the next decade their success in the U.S. was limited but they became bigger than ever in the U.K., where they continued to score with hits such as "Giving Up, Giving In" and "Woman In Love." Prince Charles proclaimed them his favorite group (they were guests at his wedding to Princess Diana) and they were consequently labeled by the British Press as "Charlie's Angels." Helen Scott rejoined the group (replacing Pinckney) in 1976, and the lineup of Scott, Ferguson and Holiday continued for a decade, when Sheila Ferguson finally left the group. Well anyway, the exciting news is that "Disco 2008" is nearly here. 24 brand new Disco tracks in time for Christmas. All of them recorded since August 2007. 24 fabulous retro disco delights, with a DVD also, of the performances of all 24 songs that are on the CD plus three bonus tracks. I love it. PLEASE buy "Disco 2008" in December, available through Vital, and marketed by GoldSoul Records. (Less)
