Check out Till The End of Time, it's another fanfic that I love written by MissNickJonas13.] Chapter 6- About an hour later Nick, Ali and Miley went inside. They were standing in front of the racks and racks of DVDs trying to pick out a movie. They kept changing their minds finally landing on Good Luck Chuck. Ali popped it and sat down on the couch. Nick sat down next to her, while Miley was in the big huge chair next to the couch. Ali had seen this movie many times. She always watched it when she wanted a good laugh. Ali laid her head on Nick's shoulders and soon enough she was sleeping. Nick and Miley watched the movie all the way through. When the movie was over Nick looked down at Ali and smiled. Her hair was wavy from the water. She had on no makeup and she pretty much glowed. He looked up at Miley and saw her looking at him. She smiled at him, but he could see the sorrow in her eyes. They both looked off in different directions. After awhile Miley couldn't take the silence. "Hey are you hungry?", Miley asked. She turned her attention back to Nick who was looking up at her. "Yeah, I always am after swimming. You know that. Do you remember that one time when..", he started to say, but his sentence was cut short. "I remember Nick, but I don't like to revisit the past. It hurts to much. Let's make some food", Miley said. She turned her head away from Nick. He stared at her for a minute because he knew exactly what she was talking about. She got up out of the chair and walked into the kitchen. A minute later Nick followed in behind her. Miley was rummaging through Ali's fridge when she felt Nick stand behind her and peek over her head. "Hand me the ice cream", Nick said. Miley handed him the ice cream and decided she would eat some too. "Make me a bowl too", Miley said. She took a seat at one of the bar stools. She watched Nick as he scooped the ice cream. He brought her, her bowl of ice cream and sat in the stool next to her. They sat eating their ice cream in silence, but Miley couldn't hold on anymore. "What happened to us Nick", Miley said. Nick could see the tears in her eyes. He looked away because he hated hurting Miley. She really was his best friend. "We couldn't handle the distance", Nick said. He reached out and took Miley's hand. "But there is no distance now", Miley said. She looked down at their hands intertwined. "There will be", Nick said. "We can work on it", Miley said. She blinked her eyes and felt a tear stroll down her face. Nick wiped away her tears. "Miley. What about Ali? I can't be without her. I have tried that and I could barley make it through the day. She's it for me", Nick said. He was staring into Miley's ice blue eyes which were watery all over again. Miley sighed. "I just wish you could say that about me. I still love you Nick", Miley said. She wiped away her tears and smiled up at Nick. "I love you too Miley...", Nick started to say, but he was cut off once again. "Nick?", Ali said. She stood in the doorway of the kitchen. Her eyes were staring to water. Before Nick could defend his case she took off out into her backyard. Nick buried his face in his hands. "Let me take care of this. I may love you, but I see how much you love her", Miley sat. She patted Nick on the back and went and sat next to Ali in the lounge chair in the backyard. Ali threw her arms around Miley and sobbed. "Stop it Ali", Miley said. Ali wiped away her tears and looked at Miley with a puzzled look. "Easy for you to say. He loves you", Ali said. She sighed and looked off into the distance. "So, he loves you too. You didn't hear what he said before that, but you are it for him", Miley said. She got a call on her cell phone and told the person that she would be right there. "He said that?", Ali asked. "He did. He loves me, but it's not enough anymore. We are through. My mom is here. I am going to sneak out the back", Miley said. She got up and walked out the back. Ali saw her wipe a tear out of her eyes. After a minute of sitting in the backyard with her eyes closed, she felt Nick sit down on the chair also. She opened her eyes and saw the boy of her dreams. "You are it for me too", Ali said. Nick took her and placed her on his lap. Their lips met and it was instant electricity. Nick ran his fingers through Ali's dark locks. She wrapped her arms around his neck and played with the short curls in the back of his head. It was the most passionate kiss they had ever shared. They broke apart out of breath and Ali laid her head on his chest. She could hear his heartbeat and everything was right in her world once again. Song: Fall For You By: Secondhand Serenade (Less)
