Bugera 333xl 2x12 combo sound test Sound samples with all three channels of the amp with fat on and off....guitar used: Schecter (More) Sound samples with all three channels of the amp with fat on and off....guitar used: Schecter Hellraiser with emg 81 and 85 and 18 volt mod. on guitar....no effects. Recorded through a Digitech RP350 to PC. The amp sounds fantastic stock, but I can't leave anything alone. This amp came stock with Bugera branded EL34 tubes which are quite good...gives it a nice Marshally sound, but I have retubed this amp with JJ 6l6GC power tubes and JJ preamp tubes with balanced phase inverter. All tubes came from EUROTUBES.com which I highly recommend for quality product and great customer service. I have also upgraded the stock speakers with Celestion G12K-100's but that does not have anything to do with the video since it was recorded direct. The audio is pure amp with a JJ tube upgrade. The stock speakers sounded quite nice but were only rated for 70 watts, with a 2 inch voice coil, they tended to fart at extreme volumes so changed to the Celestions for me headroom. I'm not a big fan of speaker distortion and cone breakup. I like everyting 100% from the tubes. To me, the amp sounds more like a mesa now than a marshall. But stock, this amp is still WELL worth the pricetag! (Less)
