What a great treat is was to meet the one and only Wyclef Jean himself in the flesh at Matt Damon's OneXOne charity event in Toronto.
Mr.Jean was gracious as alway's and he gave me the lowdown on his new album The Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant.
Wyclef Jean (IPA: /ˈwajklɛf ˈʒɑn/) born Nelust Wyclef Jean on October 17, 1972) is a Haitian musician, producer and member of the hip hop trio The Fugees.

His collaboration with Mick Jagger is documented in the 2001 film Being Mick.
Jean collaborated with Shakira on her single "Hips Don't Lie", which was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. In fact, the song was based largely on Jean's "Dance Like This" featuring Claudette Ortiz.
