The movement which was once ignited by legitimate greivances of oppression is nowadays (in my opinion)kept alive through the politics of intolerance, xenophobia, and good ol fashion racism. Moreover, this has resulted in a massive exodus of English speaking Quebecers, starting in the 70s, through to present demonstrated by an annually diminishing number of English speaking Quebecers.
