Joe: Hey Frankie! How you doing?
Frankie: I'm tired my nose is really stuffy and I keep on blowing my nose.
Joe: its okay. You'll feel better soon if you get plenty of rest Laura and me got you a little present!
Frankie: Really!
Laura: yup
Laura hands Frankie the little bag Frankie takes it and says thanks you Joe and Laura it really from everybody because we are all thinking of you. Frankie opens the bag he looks at the card
Frankie: Joe can you read it to me?
Joe: sure
Joe reads the card and it signed from Joe Laura Nick Kevin Jennifer and Amanda
Frankie looks in the bag and see a webkinz
Frankie: I am so happy thank you
Joe: your welcome we thought it would make you feel better.
Frankie: I love it!
Laura: I'm glad you love it!
Joe: we should let Frankie rest and go back to the room with everyone.
Laura: yea.
Joe and Laura say bye to Frankie and tell him to feel better soon. Also say bye to Mr. Jonas and Mrs.Jonas
Laura and Joe walk back to the room where everyone else is.
Kevin: how is Frankie doing?
Joe: he loved the webkinz and we also got him a card a put all your names on it. He still isn't better he said he was tired and had a stuffy nose.
Nick: does anybody want to do anything?
Laura: I do! Is there a swimming pool at this hotel?
Nick: its December! There is a pool it's indoor and heated. why not?
Kevin: I can call down and see if they can have it private so no fans or anyone will come in.
Joe: that's a great idea I just want to relax.
Kevin: I'll call the front desk now
Kevin calls the front desk
Front desk employee: hello
Kevin: this is Kevin Jonas from the Jonas Brothers
Front desk employee: yes I know who you are and what can I do for you?
Kevin: me and my brothers and our friends want to go swimming. We were wondering if we could have the pool private so no one can bothers us.
Front desk employee: sure. But not that many people go swimming in December we will make sure that you have your privacy.
Kevin: thanks so much
Front desk employee: no problem
They both hung up the phone.
Kevin: they said okay and said since its December not lots of people are swimming but will make sure we are not disturbed.
Joe: lets get in our bathing suits!
Amanda: OMJ I can't believe I'm going swimming with the Jonas Brothers
Kevin: I have to get my bathing suit in the other room and I'll get yours Jennifer!
Jennifer: thanks
Jennifer Laura and Amanda talk on the side away from Nick and Joe.
Laura: Joe! Amanda Jennifer and I just need to talk ok?
Joe: okay
While they are talking Joe and Nick get their bathing suits on.
Jennifer: Amanda you need to really try to calm down.
Laura: Amanda do you understand
Amanda is just standing there
Amanda: what?
Laura: we were just talking to you
Amanda: oh. Sorry just can't believe I'm going swimming with the Jonas Brothers
Jennifer: that's what we were just telling you. You need to try to calm down.
Laura: they are just normal teenagers like us. So act natural
Amanda: okay thanks for that because I don't want to look like an idiot in front of Nick. He is so HOT!
Joe and Nick are now done getting into their bathing suits so Laura and Amanda get into theirs when Kevin comes in and has Jennifer so she goes with them to change. Kevin is already in his.
Joe: how is Frankie?
Kevin: he was sleeping.
Nick: that's good he is resting so he can get better.
Kevin: I think it was good he was sleeping when I was there. He would have been really disappointed if he knew we were going to the pool. He is sick and can't go with us. Also tonight I think we should let Frankie sleep in mom and Dad's hotel room and we can get a room just for us and the girls can stay in here.
Joe: that sounds good
Nick: do you think you could be away from Laura that long?
Joe: Nick! Stop that I can
Kevin: Nick stop bothering Joe about loving Laura and missing her. I bet he will miss her
Joe: KEVIN!
Kevin: Sorry!
Nick: Amanda really cute I want to get to know her better. She seems like a nice girl
Joe: awww you like her
Nick: stop that!
Joe: while you were doing it to me just before and been doing since me and Laura have been going out.
Kevin: you two just stop it
Joe and Nick: sorry father
They both burst out laughing
Jennifer Laura and Amanda are finished changing. Nick and Joe are still laughing.
Laura: what so funny?
Joe: nothing
Laura: come on tell me
Nick: while me and Joe were teasing each other and told us to stop it and we said sorry father
Laura: that is pretty funny
So then everyone starts laughing except Kevin
Kevin: I still don't think it's very funny.
Joe: lets just go down to the pool
Everyone starts to walk towards the elevator so they can go to the floor in the hotel where the pool is so they can go swimming. (Less)

What made this so strange, is that he was not a film-maker. In fact, he had no training, education or experience whatsoever in the field. So, he immediately called his cousin and best friend to enlist their help with the project. They eagerly agreed. Problem: They were not film-makers either. The original format for the movie was not initially well defined. Only that it would somehow involve asking a specific set of questions to people from all walks of life to get many perspectives, and this together with a mix of music and images would tell a story. What was well defined from the outset became the theme of the project: We Are All One. The energy of Oneness would be the force to carry the day.
No experience, no connections, no script, no equipment, no budget ... no problem.
About the film maker:
Ward M. Powers is the Creator and Director and of ONE The Movie. He has been a practicing civil trial attorney in the State of Michigan for over 24 years. ONE is his first foray into independent filmmaking. An amateur musician, sculptor and author he has enjoyed a lifelong interest in the arts and creative expression. He lives in Novi, Michigan with his wife Diane and three daughters.
