The Slight Edge By Jeff Olsen Is an amazing concept. He has been teaching it for the last few years and actually came out with the book and audio program. "The simple daily disciplines, or the simple errors in judgment compounded over time" That's the essence and whole idea of The Slight Edge philosophy. Doing the same things day in and day out even with out seeing results compounded over time. Its hard to see the beginning stages of success and failure... Why? Because they look the same!
The person that eats healthy TODAY doesn't look any different from the person that eats unhealthy
The person that doesn't smoke TODAY doesn't look any different than the person that "ONLY has one a day"
The person that reads ten pages of a life changing book TODAY doesn't look any different from the person that watches CNN Constant Negative News ;-)
The person that listens to 15 min of a personal development audio program TODAY doesn't look any different from the person that listens to Howard Stern or watches Jerry Springer
You get where im going with this?
You cant tell in the beginning, they both look the same
But time is the great equalizer and time will uncover the real truth of success and the world will know if you chose "the simple daily disciplines" or "the simple errors in judgment"
If you wake up 10-20-30-40 years from now and you have had your 3rd heart attack this year, you are dying of lung cancer and have many other breathing problems, you are bed ridden because you physically are too big to move, and you believe its everyone elses fault but yours...
Its obvious that you chose the simple errors and judgment.
However if you have the best health, relationships, finances, and LIFE its because you have been blessed and have chosen the simple daily disciplines.

The Authority of The Kingdom of God The Answer
Every answer we need for being able to reign in this life, comes to us through the (More) The Answer
Every answer we need for being able to reign in this life, comes to us through the Word of God, because we have been given the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness according to Romans 5:17. So, right now while you are reading this lesson declare real loud; I reign, I reign, I reign!!!
Yes, what I want you to understand today is that you reign regardless to what your situations and circumstances look like, and what people say or want you to think. You are born to reign with Christ now, in this life.
The Foundation for Reigning
Now this is vitally important for you to understand. The foundation for reigning starts by each of us exercising faith in God's Word.
Unless you really believe God's Word, making His Word final authority in your life, you absolutely, unequivocally cannot reign. You will find yourself always living under circumstances and you will never achieve the level of fulfilled potential God has ordained for you.
We must believe what Jesus did. I mean totally believe what Jesus did. Not as some abstract occurrence that is only an historical reference to a great event, but more-so, you must believe wholly and fully in what Jesus did and why He did it. Believing what Jesus did is just the starting place. Your belief according to James, must be followed up with corresponding action. As a matter of fact, James said that the demons believe and they tremble. So believing is only the starting place. For your believing to be effective you are going to have to put action to your faith. Well talk more about faith and corresponding action later.
Believe What Jesus Did
The key to reigning in this life starts with believing what Jesus did.
Look at and study the following verses:

He came to totally undo the effects of the first Adam's sin and fall according to Bible scholars. Research the following scriptures and see for yourself, and write me back and let me know what you discover.

The whole world is under the power of the evil one according to 1 John 5:19. You have been delivered from that old demonic world and are now brought into the kingdom of the Son of God's love. It is high time as a member of the royal family of God, you start reigning with Christ in life.
You are no longer just a poor sinner saved by grace. You are the Body of Christ according to Ephesians 1:22-23. You, your body, is the body of Christ' and Jesus is your head. You begin to reign when you begin to realize what Jesus really did. When you embrace God's Word at a whole new level of acceptance for what He did, you actually start the journey of realizing how valuable you are in light of God's plan for man.
How Do You Reign?
1) Begin to see yourself in the image (Spirit) and likeness (character and righteousness of Christ), God and get into agreement with what God says about you no matter what situations or circumstances you face. Genesis 1:26-27; John 1:12; Psalms 82:1,6; Psalms 8:4-6; Hebrews 2:6-8
2) Put voice to your faith. In other words, don't just believe what Jesus did but also begin to say who you are and what you have as coming from the Father because of the finished work of Jesus. Because you are created in the image and likeness of God you have the power of thought and spoken words to propel you into the divine destiny God has for you. Many of our failures are the result of what we have been saying with our tongue. A very popular preacher has often said; "faith filled words dominate the law of sin, sickness and death". Well lets not just take his word for it. Lets look at what the Word of God says about the power you have in your tongue.
Now remember, you reign with Jesus Christ in life. If you reign then you have been made to be a ruler. Revelations teaches us that you have been made unto Christ a priest and a king. Peter refers to you as a royal priesthood, a holy nation that should show forth the praises of Him that has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
The Power of Your Tongue
Royalty carries itself a certain way. The words of a ruler are measured words. Wise rulers are not rash with their mouths, but instead, they use their tongues as instruments of wise rulership.
Proverbs 16:12-13
It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
vs. 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increases learning.
vs. 23-24 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. (Less)
