YOU CAN BE IN THE NEXT A. WYLIE SOCIETY SHORT! *CONTEST CLOSED*
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED REACTIONS.
:)
Hey everyone,
So I was (More) *CONTEST CLOSED*
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED REACTIONS.
:)
Hey everyone,
So I was thinking about what I could do for the next short and I thought I'd try out something a little different. For the past few days, whenever I've been bored and needed a good laugh, I would look up reaction videos on YouTube to the ever so popular internet craze "Two Girls, One Cup". haha
I then thought "these reactions are great. I wonder if the same could work for my shorts". Now, don't worry, I'm not making a "One Addman, One Cup" video (my idea well has not gotten to that point yet. Thank god. haha) Anyways, for this short, I was thinking of making it based on reactions to the society shorts and kind of spoofing this scene from Donnie Darko.
SPOILER! THIS LINK SHOWS THE ENDING TO DONNIE DARKO. JUST A HEADS UP! http://youtube.com/watch?v=2PUFJmsCZLE
The short would start off with me giving an intro and then I would start wondering how viewers are reacting to the shorts. The song "Mad World" comes on and we flash to all these different reaction shots. Still thinking of an ending but it will be stellar, no doubt.
So this is where you guys come in. If you have a video camera along with a fire wire cable that can hook up to your computer or a webcam, film your reaction. You can say and do whatever you want as long as you're keeping it clean (I know, I know...). Another request is that in your video clip, wait a couple seconds before doing anything and wait a couple seconds after you do your reaction. This will give me time to add a transition before and after.
You can send me your video via email (my e-mail is pootietang88@gmail.com) or post it on a video hosting website and just hook me up with the link. The deadline for submissions is December 7th.
Due to exams and uber tests and projects, I probably won't be able to edit until the end of the week of the 11th but it will def. be made.
I look forward to seeing all your different reactions and I can't wait to see how this turns out.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and remember to drive safely.
:)
