The game starts with an awesome interface, you feel that a professional company made the game.
You feel so excited to start, that you see the story as a very simple part of the hack.
But if you put attention to it, well, you find a terribly structured storyboard, it clearly states the hack as a "game" in the gaming experience itself, so, it isn't that real, and it isn't ingenious at all, but it's the only bad thing i find to it.
The scenarios are greatly designed and structured, it's a comfortable ambience, you really feel in a Super Mario World 2 title, and that's our ultimate goal.
The background is changed as you keep advancing in the levels and the foreground too, making the scenarios very original and the grapchics superb.
But the real deal comes along with the complete redesign after completing the first castle.
A huge space sector appears, showing redesigned sprites, scenarios, backgrounds, foregrounds and even the lava is transformed to nuclear fuel!
Watching different enemies' sprites makes you feel in an awesome world, there are so many things to appreciate on a single level, that you just want to stop moving and watch the whole zone, just for fun.
A thing that should be added are the save minibars, there are a very few and they are almost at the end or very near to the beginning of the levels, savestates are not needed, though.
Exploring is really fun, from the beginning to the end, the sprites are used wisely, you can even find yourself in the situation of not recognizing an enemy sprite, as they are correctly put in place, and that's something essencial for a hack.
It's a perfect work so far, if the complete patch is released on 2008 or 2009, and if Rusted ROMS Hacks keep making the rest of the game like this, they would create a complete masterpiece.
