Flip Ultra Camcorder - Test drive as a in-car cam - Car Videos on StreetFire I have been looking for a pocket size camcorder for a while. Something that I won't worry about (More) I have been looking for a pocket size camcorder for a while. Something that I won't worry about scratching, dropping etc and also something that I can use in the car. I decided to give Flip camcorder a try and I am very happy with it so far. Both video and sound quality is very good. I taped this in the car to see how it would perform and it turned out to be a very decent camcorder. The video is a bit shakey only because I didn't have a very sturdy sticky pod. I will try to make a stronger set up to mount the camcorder. I think this gadget is ideal if you are looking for a small camcorder to use in the car. Besides you can also use it just like a normal camcorder. Dont expect to watch the videos on big screen TV though. It is ideal for viewing on computer. The model that I got is Flip Ultra HD (not Mino) and it can record for 2 hours. I am not sure what is the frame per second number for this camcorder but just to give an idea, I am doing about 170-180 km between 2:20 and 2:45. The car is a Ford Focus. (Less)
