Special credits
Win all trophies in a class to view the credits and see a congratulations screen featuring your Mii with Mario and Peach. Win all Grand Prix Cups to get another congratulations screen featuring your Mii with all the racers.
Quick start
When the countdown starts, wait until the "2″ begins to disappear, then hold 2 to get a boost at the start of the race.
Quick recovery
When you fall into an obstacle, press 2 precisely when you land to get a temporary boost.
Profile name stars
You can add a star next to your profile name on the results screen and the Wi-Fi races by completing all Grand Prix races with a certain rank:
One star profile name: Earn a "One Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.
Two star profile name: Earn a "Two Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.
Three star profile name: Earn a "Three Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.

Military Families Peace Camp Manchester - Day 2 Manchester, England. 22nd September 2006. "Bomber" Blair's Labour Party holds its (More) Manchester, England. 22nd September 2006. "Bomber" Blair's Labour Party holds its annual conference in Manchester. Military Families Against War (MFAW) set up a peace camp in the Peace Gardens in St Peter's Square within view of the hotel where Tony Blair is staying during the conference. The Labour controlled city council initially bans the camp on the grounds of "health and safety" and "logistics"--denying that it was to spare Blair the embarrassment of having to face the families of soldiers killed in wars that he had helped launch. The families immediately announce that they are going ahead with the camp in defiance of the ban. After a massive popular wave of condemnation of the ban, the city council caves in to this pressure and allows the camp to take place on the eve of the conference. This clip shows day 2 of the camp--the day before the Time to Go demonstration is due to take place. The families wait in vain for Tony Blair to pay them a call to explain why he sent their sons and daughters to their deaths in wars launched on a false prospectus. Meanwhile, an anti-war former Labour Party Lord Mayor of Manchester drops by and receives a friendly welcome. A stage is being built in Albert Square for the rally at the Time to Go demo the following day. A group of cycle riders arrive from London and another group of peace activists arrive from Sheffield--having marched over the hills of the Pennine Peak District.
