My Opinion on SPIDER-MAN 4
apparently Willem Dafoe is hoping for a sort of "Goblin ressurrection" for this one (More) apparently Willem Dafoe is hoping for a sort of "Goblin ressurrection" for this one because as you guys know in the comics, Norman doesn't really die. So here are some other villain and/or character ideas 1) SCORPION: Mac Gargan is an excellent example of how much J. Jonah Jameson hates Spider-Man. In the comics, J.J. hires a scientist to help create the Scorpion as a way to get rid of Spider-Man. Casting choices I'd reccommend: Vin Diesel, Ralph Fiennes 2) ELECTRO: Max Dillon having the power to manipulate and generate electricity, definetely one that Spider-Man would have a hard time trying to beat. I'm hoping that they go for a blend of electricity and human for him, not entirely electricity because that would be a rip off of Sandman. 3) SHOCKER: Shocker would be awesome to see. A guy using shockwaves to blast at things would be sweet, the only issue is the costume. Shocker looks very outgoing when it comes to costume, so I'm hoping they would go for the ultimate version. For cast I'd recommend Laurence Fishburne, he looks like he has the outline of the Shocker. 4) JACKAL: If Jackal was introduced, please don't make him go into full costume. Dr. Miles Warren would be awesome enough because he would introduce the cloning arc, possibly bringing back Green Goblin. 5) RHINO: Definetely a brute force, though alone he would not be much of a villain. Rhino is the brawn compared to the brains. For casting, I'd reccommend any wrestler. 6) MORLUN: Morlun is one of Spider-Man's newest and probably his most powerful villain. He is known for absorbing the life force out of people and his centuries old. Now for the movie, I don't know about the centuries old thing but the life force draining sounds cool. For casting I'd recommend like Jason Isaacs, and make him look sort of like a vampire. 7) BLACK CAT: Felicia Hardy is a great character from the comics, and a friend and partner to Spider-Man. Black Cat would be an awesome character to put in, and apparently they were originally going to have Eliza Dushku try for her. Good thinking! 8) CHAMELEON: Chameleon would be a great character to be seen, the first actual villain for Spider-Man. He is a master of disguise and actually Kraven's half brother. Personally, if you have Chameleon you should have Kraven to back him up. Only thing is, make him a shapeshifter, not a master of disguise. Changing masks over and over again would take way too long. 9) LIZARD: Lizard is practically BEGGING for you to put him in this one. Doc Connors is waiting for a new arm, so I say the directors give it to him along with a little "something extra", lol. As for casting, keep Dylan Baker around, he looks like a great version of Doc Connors. I think that a lot of Spider-Man villains have the following in common... -Lab accident origin. -Scientist. -Battle for control. Lizard is a fantastic combination of all three and my top canditate for a Spider-Man 4 villain. 10) MAN-WOLF: We all saw that dark look in John Jameson's eyes when Mary Jane left him. He is ready to unleash the beast! In words of Stan Lee, 'Nuff said. 11) VULTURE: Vulture would be awesome for a villain. I like how they were going to introduce him in this movie, and like I said Ben Kingsley looks like he could pull him off both in appearance and acting. 12) KRAVEN THE HUNTER: ODED FEHR, ODED FEHR, ODED FREAKIN' FEHR! Unless he doesn't want the part, there is NO reason why he should not play Kraven. He looks totally awesome and I would love to see him as a mercenary type role. Like I said, have him see both Spider-Man and the Lizard as just like targets to him. Maybe have him think that they're a threat unless he does something. And like I said, if Kraven was in the movie and the Lizard wasn't, then bring in the Chameleon as his partner/brother. As for Carnage, if they make a Venom spin-off they should really save him for that. And in the case of Hobgoblin, the New Goblin thing has pretty much dropped my hopes on the Hobgoblin ever coming to the big screen. (Less)
