It is comprised of photos and video footage of our expertise in video editing, and visually shows our capabilities. A handful of the footage is collected sporadically from past projects that are either still in production, on hold, or being edited. The rest of the footage is live from recreational and scenario paintball games.
Philosophy:
As an experienced musician and artist, I have a thorough understanding of the arts through visual and auditory means. A few years ago, I thought it would be interesting to merge these two points of interest and create film projects.
Today's society is constantly looking for commercial enterprises. Most movies, television series, etc that you see on a regular basis will probably focus on simulating a feasible situation. From The Band of Brothers to Black Hawk Down, these movies try to portray what happened. Through Hollywood and whatnot, the scripts and meaning of the original ideas are lost in translation while the projects are processed to create a suitable product to sell to the public.
However, as a musician and artist, I enjoy expressing emotions. When the two forms of visual and auditory arts are merged, they create what I call an interpretation through the film medium. May I emphasize that my works are an understanding of how I see certain topics and events. Through film, I aspire to show others my interpretations, while using plausible evidence that shows knowledge and acknowledgement. Meanwhile, an imitation, such as a reenactment, can only be drowned by so many factors such as continuity, accuracy, etc.
What is GWP about?
Ghost Warrior Productions revolves around the concept of appreciating our armed forces. We are greatly thankful of the men and women that help protect our freedom. As most of our administration is comprised of experienced paintballers, we also support the sport of paintball. We are willing to assist fledglings in their nascent stages of the sport, introducing good habits and exposing the sport of paintball in a light that portrays paintball as it should be; a sport.
What does paintball have anything to do with GWP?
Paintball is a nuance that can only be understood when experienced in the right light. Yes, factors can be introduced to a situation to create military simulation. While some paintballers can see themselves as 'war junkies', we at Ghost Warrior Productions see paintball as a way to give homage to those that fight abroad. Again, we emphasize that it is not a desire to reach a simulation. Empirical experiences will most likely be able to answer all questions in this regard.
Where does all the money go?
A large percent of the profits made in Ghost Warrior Productions is donated to veterans groups. Any remaining profits are put towards funds to create more projects.
